I play primarily on the Borean Tundra server, which is part of a cluster of servers.

The War Within– Off on specific travels (main alts) – World Activities/Farming
Dreamy – 80 Night Elf Druid (Herb/ Alchemy)
Thistles – 71 Blood Elf Rogue (Mining / Engineering)
Stormee – 71 Draenei Shaman (Inscription / Alchemy)
Cadori – 80 Blood Elf Paladin (Mining/Blacksmithing)
Emriah – 74 Blood Elf Hunter (Skinning / Leatherworking)
Duskfury – 70 Blood Elf Demon Hunter (Tailor / Enchanting)

Some of these characters were once mains but are currently out in the world doing reputations and transmog farming. Their professions get attention once in a blue moon.

In the World of Warcraft it is common for people to change classes at patch swaps or between expansions. In recent expansions there are have been meta achievements introduced that encompass completing activities across the entire continent for that expansion, so it behooves one to stay on one character for the expansion (or at least the patch cycle) and complete the associated activities. Generally, by just playing a little bit each day/week, you will complete the necessary requirements.
